Joel Smith, MS, CSCS, is in his 6th year as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of California Berkeley, where he works with the men’s and women’s swimming programs and men’s tennis. Joel spent 3 years with the track and field programs at Cal before moving to aquatics. Prior to Cal, Joel served as a track & field and strength coach, as well as lecturing human performance courses at Wilmington College of Ohio. He received his master’s degree from UW-LaCrosse in Applied Sports Sciences, and his undergraduate from Cedarville University.
