Martin Evans is currently the Women’s Lead Physical Performance Coach for the Football Association. After graduating with a 1st Class degree in Sports Science from the University of Wales Institute Cardiff in 2003 he started his S&C career by supporting age grade rugby players. Following this, he moved to the Welsh Institute of Sport in 2008 where he worked across multiple sports including Triathlon, Cycling, Swimming, and Judo. He then spent 6 years as the Lead of Strength & Conditioning for British Cycling. In this time he oversaw the S&C support to athletes competing at major international competition including two successful Olympic and Paralympics.
