Head Football Strength & Conditioning Coach
Coach Ryan Davis was hired in January of 2015 by Colorado State Head Football Coach Mike Bobo to lead the strength program for Rams football. Before Colorado State Davis spent three seasons as the Director of Strength & Conditioning working for then head coach and former Heisman Trophy winner Pat Sullivan. Prior to Samford he spent three seasons as an assistant strength coach at The University of Alabama.
Davis says he has been fortunate to be influenced by coaches such as Scott Cochran and Terry Jones Sr. from The University of Alabama along with Kent Morgan Director of Strength & Conditioning at the University of West Florida.
Davis is certified through the NSCA and the CSCCa. He was the 2010 recipient of the John Stucky Award for receiving an outstanding review of the practical component of the SCCC certification.
